Anyone know who makes a cowl hood for a '65?? I'm talking fiberglass of course... I have a few pics of them on cars, but no idea where they got em from.

I bought two over the last few years.

The first was a Unlimited Products in CA, junk, did not fit well and was thin and very rough on the bottom side. It took five blockings to make it flat, more $ for the bodyman. My signature picture of the El Camino has this hood on it. Look close at the edge about mid way and see how it bows up. Also, this is with light weight springs installed.

The second and current hood is a Glasstek piece, very good quality and thicker than the UP hood. The bottom frame also looks like a stock hood. I'm very pleased with the fit and finish. Only one blocking was required to check flatness. They don't have a website and their phone number is at work. Maybe someone else has it readily available.
