: Ballpark Price Please

I have a shot at picking up a disc brake setup for my Chevelle from a donor car a friend found. What would a ballpark price be for a complete setup. I'll be able to take everything from the booster, proportioning valve, master cylinder, splindles, backing plate, basically everything.
Not knowing what the condition is, and assuming they're in decent shape.

Thanks,

I wouldn't pay more than $250 myself. I have sold 2 usable disc brake setups without a booster/master cylinder for $225. I also wouldn't use a used master cylinder. I would get a new (not rebuilt) one.

yea.......250 at the most, if you can get it for less, then and only then would I consider it a good deal. its fair at 250.. Dont forget then after you pay for that, things will need to be addressed. check this, new that, trust me it will add up to almost a new set if your not careful....phil

Thanks for the info,

I was thinking a little lower number, I think I'll shoot something a little lower if they check out and see what happens.

Blue70 - Thanks for the offer but the 500 plus shipping would carve my stone. The budget just isn't there.

For used stuff, no more than $200.00 if the rotors/bearings are OK.
Calipers will probably just be cores.
