My 65 SS is slowly gettin a much needed rehab. The problem is that the right side quarter has been patched,it's had the wheelwell replaced (outer skin) and the problem is that it sits about 3/16" below the rest of the quarter, should I replace the entire panel or refinish the way it is? The welds and metal are good I'm just not shure about having bondo that thick? What to do is the question?

Yes, 3/16" is on the thick side. 1/8" is the max you should go. But if you use a quality filler and it is prepare properly you shouldn't have a problem. If you have concerns you may want to go to a heavy bodied filler like Metal to Metal or Everglass as the first coat.
