They either go in the door jamb area, on top of the cowl or into the firewall. TC#1460, VCEA#2 ss_72man Feb 21st, 02, 10:09 AM Howdy ,I just got my front back together.I bought a new bolt kit and the four big washers that came to put in the back of the fender wells(to the firewall) were indeed cupped(for some reason).The originals weren't.Does seem kinda goofy that they are cupped like that,but hey ,it worked.(hope I got em in the right spot!!)
