Was working with my cousin on his 65 trying to line up the weatherstripping-seems like the glass in the driver's door has a curve in it (lower at top front & top rear than center), while the glass in the passenger side is flat going across.

Other problem is-seems like the glass is too short (height). When the top of the windows is flush with the the window frame, the metal pieces holding the bottom of the glass are hitting the weatherstripping on the inside of the door. Pass. side has abt 1/16" clearance between those parts. Anyone fill me in on this??

Sid-had to run out and take a look at mine to see what you were talking about, my 65 has the bow in both windows, so I would guess the passenger one has been changed unless someone replaced both of mine and I think they are still the origionals. I don't what to tell you about the clearance problem as both of mine work fine. If you want me to look at something on mine, it is right out in the garage where I can get a good look.

Hi Sid.
On my 64 the glass has a slight curve to it. the HT also !!! As for adjustments. ther are many ,( you need a GM body manual to fully under stand there complex inter-reactions)
you must remove the door panel to gain access but I would frist make sure the glass is right..
The phenomena of the lower glass run channel sealing to the outer wheather strip ( especialy re-pops) can be a PITA ajusting. and not getting hung up..and having full travel..
