: Zaino Wax-The Best?
SS454MIKE Mar 7th, 04, 9:52 PM I have a 97 Vette and am a member of the C5 Registry. A lot of these folks-including myself-use Zaino Wax products. It is a several step process but gives the best results that I have ever seen. Any of you guys use this product or have other thoughts? Thanks.
baddbob71 Mar 7th, 04, 10:00 PM I've never heard of the stuff, do you have a link for more info? I've used and recomended mostly Meguires products
SS454MIKE Mar 7th, 04, 10:14 PM Go to www.zainobros.com. (http://www.zainobros.com.) Thanks
baddbob71 Mar 8th, 04, 9:23 AM Wow, that looks like good stuff. I bet it wouldn't be a good idea to put it on fresh paint considering it's sealing abilities.
CAM70SS396 Mar 8th, 04, 2:09 PM It's the only polish I use, and will never go back to wax. Simply wonderful stuff---so easy to put on & take off, two thumbs up! graemlins/thumbsup.gif graemlins/thumbsup.gif
Side note: The initial instuctions on the website can be a bit intimidating. So intimidating in fact that a freind of mine actually had to give me some to try before I'd switch. Should have done it YEARS before that, great stuff!
cm70man Mar 8th, 04, 7:21 PM Zaino isn't a wax - it's a polish and it's great stuff. I've been using it for a few years now and it makes the "detail" process a lot easier. It doesn't leave all of the typical wax residue and is very easy to apply and wipe off.
I highly recommend it!
ChevyMuscle Mar 11th, 04, 8:03 AM Zaino seems to be one of the best kept secrets out there. The results will floor you. I've been using it for 5 years and would NEVER consider using anything else (we've tried almost everything).
For first time users, I suggest following the instruction to the letter. From the "clay bar" to the "car wash/shampo". After base application, it's just minor maintainence from there on. It's even scented, Cherry and bubblegum to name two.
The only people I talked to that didn't like Zaino........skipped a step or didn't read the instructions.
I use Zaino on four cars and a truck. AND I'm lazy. :D
richr Mar 11th, 04, 8:07 AM I use it on my 12 yr old lacquer paint - incredible shine - great product.

Don_Lightfoot Mar 11th, 04, 4:46 PM I've been using Zaino for about 5 years or so. Don't know if it's the best, but I like it.
