My car is a 67 283 malibu w/ A/C & no power steering. So here is the questions.

1. Did car equipped with power steering have a different crank pulley
2. Will the pitmam arm/steering box from an 86 Camaro work on the '67

I am planning to use a S-10 power steering pump(Junkyard ten bucks) with a block mount from speedway motors and a remote reservoir(homemade). You can get these with v-belt drive. I did not want to have a long belt driving the PS pump and alternator. I was thinking if I had a 3 grove pulley I could just have a belt running from the crank to the pump. Speedway also has a pulley kit to drive the PS pump off of the water pump, but you have to use a bunch of spacers.

I don't know what to do. I guess going cheap ain't always easy.

Thanks in advance for the info/answers/advice/help

My 65 Chevelle w/283 and no air had an absolutely flat alternator pulley on it. If there is any "dish" to your A/C pulley then they aren't the same.

With reference to "dish" I am NOT talking about the center "index" dished portion which locates the pulley on the balancer. I am talking "dish" meaning that the "V" belt portion is located forward of the face of the crank dampner.

With respect to the pitman arm I have no idea.
