Hello All. Glad to be a part of this. I have spent quite a bit of time reading the threads and found there are a lot of very knowledgeable members. I recently purchased a 70 SS 396 El Camino with a - where the paint code usually is. Did a little teardown and found Hugger Orange everywhere. Wild.

Hello and welcome Rick. It's always nice to see a new Maryland member.
Is your el camino a project or running?

Running project. It had a repaint about twenty years ago but still looks good from 15 feet. It is going to get one of everything in the next couple of years.
It has a 396/350, Turbo 400, 12 Bolt, P/S, P/B, A/C, Tilt Wheel, Buckets, Console, Hugger Orange, Black vinyl top, Black Int so I believe it is worth restoring.
