THe tail pannel section (between the tail lights.) is rusted and has pin holes along the top side were the weather strip goes in. Its not in the weather strip trough but is on the back side of the weather strip. Is there any way to repair this or am I better off to replace the whole section. I can email pics if that would help at all. Thanks.

If I were you, and the original piece is not that bad, I would try to replace it. I did not do that and I am currently "still" stuck getting the after market piece to fit correctly. The spaces at either edge is different and it is giving me a hard time to get right. graemlins/clonk.gif

Mine had collision damage.Spent long hours of hammer/dolly and filler to get it somewhat straight. The area just under the pannel where its welded together is still pushed in about an inch but I think the bumper will hide most of it...If you just have pin holes I would strip and fiberglass it up.Should hold up ok...Ed smile.gif

THanks, I wanted to fix it to for the fear of not fitting correctly with a new piece. I just wasnt shure how to go about fixing it. Ill try the fiberglass.
