Hello everyone, I hope I don't offend any die hard originality fans, but I would like to put some ghost flames on my malibu. The problem is, I can't seem to get the flame design that I like down. Does anyone know where I could go on the internet to find patterns or perhaps even stencils I could use? As always, I really appreciate everyone that takes their time to help me, thanks!

Oscar, doesnt offend me, thats exactly what Im thinking of doing now...I dont know about patterns, but I sketched mine out on paper till I got one that I liked...then I tried it on an old hood that I have in the garage....Looks really good, as far as the pattern goes...I still have to get the paint mix right, I'm still experimenting with mettallics and pearls. I dont know how to post a link here, but try "www.customflamepainting.com" Good luck, let me know what you decide to do. I'll take pics of mine when its done. John

I bought my brother a book on painting flames... Now everything ast his house has flames (compressor, mail box, several whelbarrows, refrigerator, etc.). He says it is really hard to get them to look good (properly proportioned)...
Sorry, I haven't seen any stensils lately...
But I do recall seeing some kind of "Flames in a bag"... Maybe from Eastwood?
