Im installing my trunk divider board today. Im thinking about putting FatMat on the inside between the seat and board, attached to the trunk divider board. Do you think it will make the board to heavey? Was there any jute, etc. on a 65 trunk divider from the factory? Been so long I dont remember on mine. I already have the FatMat and have enough do to this, I just don want to destroy the board doing it. Thanks!

Ground up has the insulation.
TRUNK DIVIDER INSULATION 1964-65 CHEVELLE
Code: ITJ-76
Price: $11.95
As to which side of the board it goes, see the similar threads listed below. Seems to be opinion is split as to which goes on first, the divider or the insulation. Mine is on the trunk side.

Greg;
Try a local carpet store in your area for the jute............ I picked-up a piece for under the rear window tray when I did my '68, bought a 1/2 yard piece of 1/2" (18"X60") for $5.00. It comes in different thicknesses, I should have gotten 1/4" for under the tray but 1/2" would be good for the trunk divider.

My 67 had factory trunk paint on the smooth side of the rear divider board.

Greg,
What did you do? Did you use the FatMat?
