Does anyone know how hard it is to match paints when repairing a ding in a quarter panel? Albeit a small one, repairing it and repainting, I'm sure, can be tough. Do any of you know how much it might cost?

It is done everyday with horrible to invisible results and the cost would be in the area of $250.00 around here in San Fran Bay area for a nice repair.

Thanks,
The dent is nothing to freak out over, but it would detract from the appearance of the car if I wanted to put it in a show. Matching the paint could prove to be the hardest part. I just don't want it to cost more than $300-$400, but I don't really know.
Thanks again,

matching the paint shouldn't be a problem for a good shop, they will blend the paint out over the repair and clear the whole panel assuming it is a base/clear paint.

Have any of you heard of a method that uses dry ice and suction? I don't know any details, but it came up once before.
