found the sheet under the drivers seat, please help decode.

body # is 000634
trim is 762
paint is kk
block 1 is 1
block 2 is A01
BLOCK 13 is M35

body # is 000634 will be on the cowl tag
trim is 762 - Base Chevelle black cloth bench seat, not Malibu or SS trim
paint is kk - Tripoli Turquoise
block 1 is 1
block 2 is A01 - Tinted Glass
BLOCK 13 is M35 - Powerglide trans

Not a 396 car. 1968 SS was a model 13837. Only SS could get a 396.

There weren't any big block 2 door post cars built by Chevrolet in 1968. One could have been installed by a previous owner, but GM didn't do it.
SS396's were 2 door coupe, convertible, and El Camino only in '68. Model numbers 13837, 13867, and 13880

thanks for the reply, installing floor pans in the am. Was hopeing to find out that maybe i had something special. But it will be a nice hot rod when i am done. Aleast i have the build sheet .
