What cars can I use to get a power steering pump for my chevelle 307 Malibu it has an 89 350/383 stroker in it now. My pump is shot...gone.... I need a replacement.

Pretty much any SBC PS pump would work out nicely. BOP also. There's literally millions of them in wrecking yards all over the nation. Just get the pump and use your bracketry. If in doubt take your pump with you to make sure you get a good match.

theyre even the same pumps in alot of chrysler and other make cars, except the hose nipple direction (on the crysler pump i have in my elco, at least)

I got a nice rebuilt one from Autozone for 60.00 with my old pump.

If the pump is just beat,worn out and not missing from the car you can just buy a replacement pump from any good auto parts store.Just reuse your existing brackets and pulley,and replace the belt while your at it too.
If its literally gone, thats a different story.
