has anyone had a chance to try the new retooled goodmark front fenders for the 70/72 chevelles and if so how was the fit? the reason i ask is they are now retooling the 67 fenders (i was told by a goodmark salesperson today they were selling another venders 67 fenders)and did not like the fit. my thinking is if they got the 70/72 fenders better maybe, just maybe, the 67 fenders will fit better also. thanks

I just put a pair on my 72 about 3 weeks ago.I couldn't have asked for a better fit. I waited a long time for them (about 8 months while the retooling took place) because I was told by my local Goodmark rep.(and by Goodmark) not to accept any(Goodmarks)that were presently in stock with any dealers. They stated that they were having a lot of fit problems, and most of them were being returned. I wasn't in any big hurry, so IMO it was worth the wait. Dennis

I too have the new retooled 70 chevelle fenders I have a pair. The fit was great even much better then the OEM fenders that I took off.
