I going to be putting the front bumper on my 69, but I don’t have the bolts that attach the brackets to the frame. The factory set-up has toothed washers. Has anyone tried standard ½ grade8 with star washers? Is it worth looking for the factory type washer?

I used grade 5 stainless bolts washers lock washers and spring locknuts. Torqued em down good after adjusting and they haven't moved in a year.
Mind you I will never jack the car by the bumpers.
The bumper jack in the trunk is just for looks.. :cool:
