man I have got to build one of those. One of the worst things about having the falling out with my body guy is not being able to use his blast cabnet. That thing was so nice for cleaning up parts. I have got to build myself one. All I need is money, time, and most importantly, room....

nice cabnet, give us some details...

After drooling over Jeffk's cabinet in a post a year or two ago, I always had in the back of my head to attempt this do-it-yourself kit. Finally got some parts that needed a real good cleaning and decided to give the TP Tools kit a try.
www.tptools.com (http://www.tptools.com)

The basic kit comes with instructions and a few things you'll obviously need like the gun, foot pedal and such. I upgraded to get the bigger window kit with the basic kit and haven't looked back. You'll still need to buy the plywood and a lot of other odds and ins, but you can build the cabinet to whatever size you desire. I built mine to easily fit a V8 short block in there if I want http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

All total I have a little less than $300 in it and a lot of hours fiddling in the garage while I B.S. with the roommate. Not a bad price considering the size and what else is out there on the market.

I built one too, a Tip cabinet just like those pictured. Great device. Mine works best with fine glass beads, #10 I think they're called. What a beautiful job to remove paint, but leaves no pits. Never had any problems clogging up ever. And I have not even used up one bag of beads yet. Everyone needs one of these.
