Scott,
I am pretty sure I have an extra set of door glasses in the garage. I will check for sure when it stops snowing smile.gif If you are interested in them, let me know.

No! Not sandpaper. Well maybe, how bad is the scratch? As you know window glass is pretty soft. A cleaner type toothpaste works good for taking out minor scratches, dullness. Kind of like a polishing compound for glass.

Glass is a trick to polish, the surface must be kept wet at all time. Check a local glass shop that does custom work. Buffing one spot of glass can really look bad. Glass needs to be kept flat when polished or it will wave and distort. Have seen this go from bad to worse and its not pretty.

I have tried to polish out the scratches in my drivers side door glass a couple of times using the special compound made for glass. The scratches are still there. :(

I talked to an old timer who has been doing auto glass for like 50 years. When we talked about the glass scrathes removers his response was if its a little itty bitty scratch you MIGHT get it out !!!
Also he said if you try it you have to do the whole window so that it's uniform. He also said that you really need to use the buffing machine that they sell for glass polishing. Since it's a door window you have nothing to lose. For me, when we get to that point we are going with new glass all around.
