This is my first post at chevelle tech. I would like to say thanks to everyone whoever you are, for keeping this site so imformative. I am starting on my 67 frameoff and decided on the jack and sawhorse trick. Now the trick I added was to compress the rear springs so the body didn't have to go so high. This is my 2 cents I hope it helps someone.

Why dont you use the dought spare tires that are comming with newer vehicles on the rear that way it sits lower to the ground.

After I lifted and blocked the body at the rockers. I lowered the frame by removing the tires and put on empty steel rims and rolled it out.
