I tell ya, doing my 70 chevelle has sure helped me appreciate body shops! This project sure has been a tough one.

I aligned my doors with no weather stipping or latch bolt, got them perfect then attached the latch bolt got that perfect THEN comes the weather stripping, went on just fine, no hitches and went as planned until I went to shut the doors...I have to slam then hard to get latched and once it's latched the lower corner under the door handles stick out from the body lines!

"One step forward 2 steps back" really applies to this project!

Any suggestions?

Give the new parts some time to settle in, then re-adjust them. I put new door gaskets on my car and the doors were really hard to close for a week or so.
