Well just finished hanging my passenger door on my 65 I rebuilt the whole door, from weather striping, lock & latch, and hinges.

What a pain in the A$$ the hinges turned out to be, I had to drill every bolt out that held the hinges to the door I could not budge them with a impack driver, heat or PB blaster, but i'm glad I did as I replaced them with allen head type bolts and man was it easy adjusting that part of the door, I also replaced the bolts holding the hinges to the body with allens and again another easy adjustment with a long tee handle allen, and the felt kit from muscle factory fit great.

Just thought I might pass this along.

Greg, I'm in the process of restoring my 65 El Camino. All the doors are off the car and I cleaned up/stripped the door hinges so that I can paint them up nice. What size allen bolt did you use for the ones that bolt on the door. I want to replace the ones with the phillips head. I am also going to replace all the weatherstripping on the car as well. Any helpful hints to redoing mine is greatly appreciated. My email address is mbon007@yahoo.com. Thanks.
