Just got my windshield and back window installed, it was 2 years on Tuesday that we pulled it out of the barn and all I lack is the headliner installation! The glass shop ordered a new windshield and installed that and my original rear glass that I had tinted. They redrilled for clips front and back (due to panel replacement) and put on all the stainless around both windows.
The cost $264.88 and they came to my house and did it! What do you think? Also the windshield I ordered with the tint strip across the top, and to my suprise the entire window has a tint to it like alot of the newer cars, some type of Solar tint. I like it! :D

I wouldn't have done it for less, & I've seen them do it plenty of times. When it comes to windshield (or rear window) replacement, I leave it to the guys who will replace the glass for free if they break it. Besides, they came to you instead of you having to wait around in their filthy shop. Bottom line is you scored.

to pull my rear glass out the glass company charged me 40 bucks and they scratched the crap out of it during removal. graemlins/sad.gif The front glass was cracked badly so I used the (2-size 10 boots method) to remove the front glass.I decided I was going to do the installs myself. I got a front glass at cost from a friend of a friend for 60 bucks. 10 bucks for 2 rolls of 3m butyl and laid them in myself so total was $110.
