I'm having some problems finding the whole locking mechanism for my 66. The old one actually broke and I can't even open the door. I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that carries the entire locking mechanism, or what other makes, models, years might work. I'd appreciate any help at all with this.

I'm sure any parts supplier would have them. NPD, OPG, The Paddock etc.

I just installed one, they usually come as a matching kit with the trunk lid lock because of matching keys. I was actually at the Chevelle show in NE MD. (June 06) when my trunk lock froze up and bought the kit from one of the vendors there. In the mean time the lock on the glove compartment broke off, so I had the part.
