It looks like a 68 Chevelle radio delete plate will fit in the 69 camaro radio hole. It has different tooling on it, but for the price of the original camaro radio delete plates it may be worth a try. Has anyone tried this or know if it will work? Doe anyone have a chevelle plate that they could measure? My camaro is in it's winter hibernation garage, and I can't easily measure the radio area either.

its about 2inches wide and 8 1/2inches long,I'll try and post a pic a little later.
