Looking for Plastic covers for a 70 chevelle that go over the wiper transmission area just under the windshield under hood .

FYI, technically, they were never on a Chevelle. But, I put a set on, too - not sure why they weren't part of the chevelle lineup.

I think you are looking for a set of "Cowl Grille Inserts." I bought a set for my '70 with AC (OPGI part number CHV451B) and they fit perfectly, like they were factory pieces. The plastic seems somewhat flimsy but the fit is exact, even down to the holes for the washer hoses.

They do work to keep debris out of the wiper well.
