i cant remember where the little metal pieces fit on the weatherstrip on the winshield pillars of my 70 convertible the stainless trim is on but cant figure the other out appreciate any help

but pieces i mean are the ones that help hold/support the weatherstrip on the pillars one the passenger and driver side window weatherstrip

Sorry 'bout that-guess I DO need glasses.

Any way you could take a picture of the part in question? I replaced all my weatherstipping, I should be able to help, but am not sure of the piece you're describing.

If it's what I'm thinking, the weatherstripping just kinda 'snapped' into the stainless piece, then you screwed it into the pillar. I used a little 3m trim adhesive to hold it in place.
