trans has been rebuilt with shift improver kit and adjustable vac. module it has a very soft shift and shift's at low rpm in automatic mode. Can the vac. module be adjusted to improve the shift rpm and will this make it shift a little harder? How do you adjust the vac. module, i have no instructions? The converter is a 2500 rpm stall if that help's.

Turn the the screw in (clockwise) to firm up the shifts.The modulator only controls part throttle shift timing,mainly on the 1-2 shift.
Try 2 full turns "in"
To achieve a higher RPM shift point you will need to change the weights on the governor.
