how do you get the bushings out of the control arms. and do i really need to buy the ball joint press tool?

Best thing to do would be to have the machine shop press them out and install the new ones. Most GOOD auto part stores can do this for you. That is what I did.

thanks, i just bought a ball joint press tool set for $40 on ebay. i am hoping i can use it somehow on the upper and lower bushings? i called a few places around me and they dont want to do the work. i have acces to a press at work.
