In case anyone cares, I just installed seats out of a 96 firebird into my 71 chevelle. They fit great, wiring was a very simple two wire conection and they also left plenty of room for rear passengers. Just took a couple of metal spacers to level out seats plus a couple new holes for rear bolts and forward inside bolts.

Power driver and manual passenger? Did you remove the shoulder restraint? Two wires, would I be correct to assume power and ground? Where exactly did you hook up the wires? Have any pics?

I didnt know that the cloth seats could come in power. How do you like them?

Both of my chevelles had bench seats until now, but man I wish I would have went with Bucket seats along time ago. As soon as I sat in them I was satisfied. Much more sporty feeling, supporting, and more comfortable while fighting the original drummm brakes.

I also have a 95 formula with the same seats that I have been drivin for about 8 years, so my butt was kinda premolded to how they feel and sit.

These cloth seats with electric adjustments came from a v6 model. My Formula has the LT1 and they are not electric. So I guess the electric option was available in any model or covering.

I ran a ground to the front seat mount bolt and the power wire straight to the accessory point on the fuse box
