There's no way!!! How do you remove the chrome trim on the top of the box of a '64 Elky? I have reomoved the plate on the rear of the box but there is no way I can even get it started. What's the trick? (I'm frustrated).
Thanks for your help.

Boy, it's been a while. Take a flashlight and look up the end of one side. It'll help a lot to be able to visualize it. I think, if you pull the molding to the side and lift up that side it'll clear the little tangs holding it on. My recollection anyhow.

It just pops off. There are clips about 12". When you get to the cast pieces on the cab you will have to remove the rear section of headliner to get to the nuts that hold the trim on.

B 4 we get to prying the side rails off. you must remove the side access panels in rear inner bed area. and remove the speed nuts
securing the cast corner moldings .
reason being the side rails slid over and lock in tangs in both the cab back and corner moldings. I use two 2in. scrapers one inserted on top of the other. and then rotate a wide blade screw driver between the scraper blades. Leo was right they have 4 or 5 clips per side so start at the rear and GO SLOWLY.
