: Speedometer needle is jumpy up to 60-Everything new..Any ideas?? 66 Chevelle Bob Jan 27th, 07, 2:50 PM My friend just replaced his speedometer on his 67 with a brand new repo and installed a new cable. On start from 0 to 40 it's really jumpy-From 40 to 60 alittle better. Finally at 60 it's smooth..What gives? New speedo-New cable-ANY IDEAS...? He's not pulling the dash out again he told me...!! I agree, also make sure the speedo gear (in the tranny) is moving freely, you didn't mention that, could it be that was replaced as well? | ||
