Sounds like the thermostat failed "shorted" which left the heating blenket on and the over pressure safety valve didn't pop-off. Good God, what an explosion!!

They are luck they weren't driving around, although it could have pushed the car a little faster when it blew!

Wow could have been even worse.. there is an example of why not to have an attached garage imagine if it caught fire and started to burn down the house detached garage would be only thing to burn not house too but hell at least there was no fire

btw, I just found this site on the web. I don't actually drive nitrous-powered Nissans around myself.

Although, maybe my '94 Jeep Wrangler could use a little nitrous boost. Hmmmmmm ..... not.

Guess the old funny gas wasn't so funny this time, huh? http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif At least it was just a Nissan, not a classic, and no one was hurt.

I've always thought N20 (Nitrous) wasn't for me.
I just got done with that site... and that CONFIRMED it!!!!

To think I was going to hide a bottle under the deck behind my seat!!! Oh well, I don't fear death... I fear slow, painful, suffering death.!
