Does anyone know how to remove scratches form glass? What kind of equipment do I need and where can I get it? I have some very bad scratches in the rear window of my 67 SS.
Or... Where can I buy a new window?

Just working on this problem myself.

start with some 0000 steel wool, with plenty of windex. This will remove scum, slight scratches.

I have got a scratch removal kit from Eastwoods it seems to work ok on most scratches but be forwarned... Make absolutely the pad is dirt free or you'll create swirl marks that are 100 times harder to get out ..BTDT

The Eastwood method will remove spots and slight abrasions, but forget anything your fingernail will catch on. Buy new used glass then..

good luck,

Jody, Thanks. Do you know where I can by another window, since mine does have some pretty deep scratches as well as a couple of abrasions?
