Has anyone used one of these trunk lid filler panels before?

http://www.yearone.com/serverfiles/fbshopmain2.asp?cat=0

This is for a 67 and the rear window seat is pretty much completely rusted out and the trunk seal (where weatherstripping goes) also is pretty bad. Does this panel go all the way to the trunk seal or will that have to be formed by hand?

Also is there a difference between the one above offered by Year One and others like you see on Ebay or offered by C.A.R.S. There is about a $30 price difference with the Year One being more expensive.

Thanks

Greg

Have you used this panel? How does it fit? And does it include the trunk seal for the weatherstripping?

Thanks

Greg,

Haven't used it. Can't attest to the fit. Yes it looks like it goes from the trucnk weather seal to the window. Can't be that many sources for these. I suspect you'll get the same panel from multiple suppliers. I know that doesn't help but at least you know where to get one.

I've used full quarters, a complete trunk kit and floor pans from NPD. Not everything was a perfect fits but who's is. It all could be made to work.

Whoever you get one from, make sure they have an open return policy in case it doesn't fit as well as you'd like it to upon inspection. NPD does.

Good luck! graemlins/thumbsup.gif
