Hey gang, the left slick in the race car is getting a better burn-out than the right side. The car was making a right turn on launch, so I started adjusting the ladder bars only to make the car lose traction. I noticed the tin work in the wheelwell didn't have any fresh rubber compared to the left side. I got someone to watch the burnout and it was putting a smaller amount of smoke. Is this crazy or what? Its a full size spool and the axles are new. With the rear in the air, both wheels appear to be turning equally. I pay close attention to air pressures to ensure they're equal. Almost seems they're isn't enough weight or load on the right side. The slicks are 33x15 Hoosier #5 and have 54 passes.Any help is always appreciated. Thansk, Tony A.

Is it possible that you are peloading the chassis to start to pick the passenger tire up off the ground?

You just answered your own question.

You'll need to work on suspension preload/shock adjustment on the right rear corner.
Just remember that what you do on the RR corner will affect the LF corner and vice versa.

Do you have a set of 4-wheel scales or have access to some?

that's why the RR air bag has been popular. put one in, put 15 lbs air in it, it will be close.

I recently installed a new set of QA1 coilovers as the old coil overs were finished. It used to bounce the rear tires pretty much off the ground on launch. I went from a 150 spring to a 110 lb. I tried adjusting the rebound/compression setting with little change. I think it's in the ladder bar adjustment. The car always road higher in the right rear. I'm obviously not great a rear suspension. The car weighs 2700 lbs fully loaded.

Well 110's are closer to what you need. Mine is 3150 and I have 130's in mine. What I would do is start checking the ladder bars to make sure they are square and work from there.
