Is there any disadvantage to painting when its raining or damp outside?? Someone told me its not a good idea, but assuming the garage doesnt leak, I dont see what the difference would be. More humid air being pumped into the compressor maybe?? John

Moisture in the air will cause laquer to blush(turn milky white).I personally, wait for a rainy day or the morning after a heavy rain before sparaying a car in urethane or enamel in my garage. The biggest problem when painting in a garage is dust in the air. When its raining or wet, theres little dust in the air.I have had some super clean paint jobs come out of my garage,i wait for a rainy day,wet down the floor and spray.
