Anyone have experience with this product? It sounds promising. It's the putty you wet and work with your hands to form a solid filler.

I order Por-15's trunk restoration kit and in it they supply some of this por putty. I should be getting any day and i'll let you know how it turns out.

I've used the POR putty that you knead together and apply. It is good stuff! You can wet it and smooth it out before it hardens to minimize the sanding, which is good because it get very hard http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I used this to fill a few small (penny size or less) holes in the windshield and rear window channels. This stuff is great! Hard as metal when it's done, but still sandable. I plan on using this on a few minor repairs down the road.

Does Resto-Motive Labs (makers of por-15 product line) make a product that ISN'T awesome? Everything of theirs I have tried has far far exceeded my expectations! I am ordering a new product from them this weekend (as soon as my new catalog arrives) that is basically a new color of durable paint advertised to almost exactly match the appearance of brand new foundry cast iron. I plan on using this on all of my steering components and maybe my master cylinder as well. I used the semi gloss black on the underbody and firewall of my car and used the Chevy orange for the engine. Everything looks great so far!

I used the POR putty to smooth my frame rails. One bit of advice- make sure you get it the way you want it before it sets up. While it is sandable, it ain't easy!

I used it to repair the rear window channel 2 years ago and it is still dry back there. It does not like to cure in colder weather. I kept the garage above freezing but it still took a week to cure. I am going to use it on the pinholes in my floor as soon as the weather warms to above 65 as an overnight low (June). http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif
