i have a 70 chevelle with a/c and a 350 i want to get the car to handle for the street better and i want to lower the car but im not sure what springs would be best. if you have any pictures of cars lowered please share you can email them to me at sb454chevy@aol.com or post them here. if you liked the springs you got let me know what ones they were. and keep in mind i have a/c if this matters thanks for any help charlie

You can cut the front springs down but I'm still debating on what to do with the rear since the coils have a special shape on each end that matches the spring perch I have been told that you can only order new springs for the rear but have not seen any for that particular application

You can cut the tops of the rear springs as well. I have 5x9.5" 950lb. springs up front with adjusters, and 200lb. 11" springs out back. First pic in my sig. is as soon as I dropped the jack, the others are only w/ 2" drop spindles and stock springs. Have another set of the 950's in interested.
