Hi everyone, I just recently bought a 68 Chevelle SS. It has some rust, not much on the rear wheelwells. How should I go about fixing it? I bought it from a guy that does restorations and he said he would be able to do it for a couple grand. Is this a good price? He said he spot welds it so it looks like it came from the factory. I need help deciding what to do! Thanks

I think we will need more details. In your topic you said rust on quarters. It the description you said wheel wells. If the inner wheel wells need some patching and undercoating that's fairly easy, but if your talking about the painted quarters it's a much bigger job. Does it need new quarters, or patch panels???
Also, there's nothing like a good pic to describe the rust problem..

Sorry, there is rust on the lip of the quarter where the wheel is.
