I'm generally good at this sort of stuff, but this one's got me stumped. On the way home from a cruise-in the other night, my lights suddenly became dimmer and started flickering (high and low beam, parking lights, dash lights, etc.) and my altenator idiot light flashed on. Yesterday I checked it out and it still does the same thing only now there's a horrible squeeling sound starting around 2500 RPM. It has a new alternator, battery, and voltage regulator. I think the squeel is from the alt. belt (deep groove pulley) but the flickering I don't know. Please help!!

You could have one or more burned out diodes or a shorted stator in the alternator. In any case I would take it in and get it checked.

yeah, definitely sounds like a bad alternator to me.

Before you spend any money, tighten your alternator belt. I have seen this too many times when a belt was just a little bit loose. Once I even had a belt that was almost new, and yet it slipped not matter how tight I made it. I replaced it with an identical one (I had bought 2 of them) and the problem went away.
