My 70 Malibu's right front fender just got crunched in a parking lot by a rice rocket. Yes, the rocket backed into me!! The dent runs the length if the wheel opening and returning it to original contour would be tough.

I'm looking at aftermarket fenders. Can't find any NOS stuff, would be way too expensive if I did.

There are several suppliers of aftermarket fenders. However, I'm a little concerned about how they will fit and how heavy the metal is in an aftermarket fender.

Anyone out there with aftermarket fender experience? Who did you buy from and how did it turn out?

Thanks in advance, jim

Ditto on the fix your's if at all possible. I've used numerous aftermarket sheetmetal parts from every supplier. None of them compare to OEM. The fit ranges from "where the heck did they get this" to just adequate. In any case, the metal is thinner and the primer applied to them is pitiful. If OEM is not available, that's what you have to deal with.

You live in TX. Go hunting and find a good used one. Charge the guy for your time.
