hi on my 71 ss.i want to change the chrome piece on the quater glass. i bought the new ones from ground up and they look great.
any easy way to remove the old ones??

Lay the window down on a padded surface then take a small block of wood (preferably smooth not all raggedy), and shield your window with something like a notepad and carefully tap the piece of chrome off. Not hard at all. I used a legal notepad just in case my taps with the hammer weren't as accurate as they should be. Didn't want to hit the glass with the hammer and break it graemlins/clonk.gif
