My vent windows need to be restored or at least the weatherstriping needs replaced. After searching the forums it looks like the process of taking them apart is kind of a hassle. I know they are lots of $$$ but has anyone replaced theirs with a complete new assy? My glass is clear but from what I understand the new vent windows are tinted, is this correct? If so, then it looks like I'm stuck restoring mine.

I suggest restoring yours...the originals are ALWAYS a better fit and finish.
Besides, they're not that hard to do...the first one is the most difficult. ;)
