Mine is exactly the same, but instead of wood it is black rubber sandwiching the aluminum. It goes well with the black interior. Also the rubber isnt quite as big as the wood is. Ill try to post a pic in a bit.

can you post pics of how you attached it?
Did you use the grant horn stuff and just attach the button the same way?

No, I had to make the adaptor. I had posted it a long time ago but I could not find it. I'll try to get pictures again of what I did.

Hey 74Bowtie;
That wheel looks great........I have the same one on my Chevelle, I have the blue cap with the bowtie in the center it was installed by the previous owner. I love the wheel and I'm keeping it on ( I'm not going to burn it but I wouldn't mind shoving it up MR69s A..) but I do plan to change over to a stock cap like you have. How hard was adapting it to fit?

I refurbished one of those wheels a long time ago. Had to make a couple of new wood pieces. Couldn't match the rivets so I cut plugs fron a wooden dowel and glued them in place then refinished the wood. Looked pretty nice when I was done. I'm only sorry I didn't take a picture of it before I sold it!:)

74BOWTIE do you have the part number of that wheel?
I also like them, but I think there are two different wheels that Grant makes?
One is about 100.00 through Simmit the other is about 250.00 through the resto world.
What one do you have?
And can we see a picture of your adaptor for the horn?
Thanks T.C.
