My nephew is a die hard Chevelle guy and has worked for me alot the last couple of years...We started assembly today of a new big block for my 68 SS and when we took a break he said I have a gift for you from my parts supply..
I opened a cardboard box and there was a gauge cluster with a ''ROLLER TACH''..........what a guy...........
It is the 68 Chevelle tach that has a red horizontal needle that moves vertically. The background is curved and kinda makes it look like it might roll. It doesn't. The horizontal needle moves up and down. Not the most accurate tach but it a 68 only deal and nifty. :)
BTW my 68 has one but the bezel isn't in the best of shape so I stuck a non tach bezel in the car and the factory tach can't be seen. Never have gotten around to fixing it since my monster tach works fine
Congrats juiceman :waving:

Sometimes my wife thinks I can. She tells me to take my head out of my a## all the time. Like when I went to the Harley dealer to ride it home for my buddy; he bought a 07 Nightrain. I asked her if "we" could get one. She said, "no and take your head out of your a$$." :)
