I'm looking for info or where I can purchase a certain kind of comfort grip black steering wheel. I have seen these in many YENKO cars at the show in Collinsville, IL last few years. I have also seen the wheel in a GSX in Carcraft Jan 2007 issue "GSX Revolution". I'll describe this to the best of my knowledge:
It is THICKER like a 4 spoke W30 / 442 wheel
There is NO outer aluminum band arounfd the perimeter
It uses the same hub, contacts & cap as any 3 spoke would
Looks like there are NO fingergrips on the backside
Someone has had to have seen these wheels or KNOW where to purchase one ?
I have tried looking at all repo & corvette sites / books with nothing.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,
Craig K:beers:

No,
I think what you are showing is a LaCarrera aftermarket wheel. The wheel I am lookiing for is EXACTLY like a comfort grip 3 spoke wheel & uses ALL GM parts, hub, contact, cap (but is THICKER). I am sure it is not an aftermarket namebrand, grant, dino, lacarrera etc..
Thanks,

That is the optional GSX steering wheel. Year One did have them in their catalog.
