i have a 70 chevelle that at one time had a/c.i want to remove the box from the firewall.it looks like it also houses the blower motor. how is this done?is it easy or what!

The box does include the blower motor.

I have just removed mine to replace the evaporater and put a new blower motor in as well.

You will have to remove the inner fenderwell from the pass side first. This will allow access to all the bolts holding the case in place. I am assuming from your information you do not want to reinstall it. If so and you want to keep your blower motor you'll have to do some extensive modifying to your firewall to accept a box without A/C. If you don't want to use the blower motor I have seen some cars where a chrome plate was bolted in place completely covering the opening into the firewall.
