What is the correct type or style of poverty hubcap for a
1971 base model chevelle any one have any suggestions or pictures?

The eBay link in the last post is NOT correct for 1971 models. The link shows the "dog dish" my car came with (I've got a '70). These were used from 1968-1970 on Camaros, Novas and Chevelles.

For 1971 and later, they used the "baby moon" which was mentioned earlier (even more plain-jane).

Yes what has been mentioned above, A baby moon cap with chevrolet bowtie debossed into the cap.
Personally I think those caps are fugly.
I would rather use the 68-70 dog dish cap even though they are not the correct caps (like in the ebay link above).

friend of mine is digging out his moms old chevelle
and one of the few things he needs is the hub caps
thanks to eveyones help I have the correct
( caps 2 of them any way) off of my old 72 greenbrier
