I Purchased a AGR Gear Box for my 71 Chevelle project and put all new front supsension componenets on and it been sitting outside for around 3 weeks and the tierods gear box and idler arms are starting to flash rust does anyone know of a spray rust removal i can use so i can but a clear coat on these parts so they want flash rust no more.

I have used PPC Corrosion treatment from my autobody supply store with pretty good results. POR-15 also sells pretty much the same thing and call it metal prep. It's basicaly a solution that desolves rust and leaves a zinc phosphate coating on the metal. If you are going for the new metal look, you will not want to use this with a clear afterwards, it won't look right with the zinc coating. I painted mine with cast iron paint from Duplicolor. Looks pretty good.
