I think it seals it TOO GOOD. I have seen it used and the dash cracks in the matter of months! I think it looks fake too, like you have cleared it with urethane clear. Miguirers makes the best I have seen.

FYI, it contains silicone and once applied you will never sucessfully paint that item if thats important to you. Theres no way to remove silicone from viynl once its applied.

One time I detailed my CB550 Honda and Armor All'd the tires. It look real cool, but when the sky started to mist like an early morning dew, I found out how dangerous Armor All can be. As I pulled away from a stop sign the bike started doing donuts, not your typical run of the mill donuts either. I was sitting straight up on the bike as if it was on the center stand going around in circles untill it bicycled over and through me off.
Thank God I was wearing a helmet because I hit hard enough to crack it in half http://www.chevelles.com/forum/eek.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/eek.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/eek.gif

Also don't use it on your bench seat unless you enjoy sliding from one side of the car to the other BTDT http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

thanks for all the heads up. on the HAZARDS of ARMOR ALL.
as for not using it on vinyl seats. I Can't give that up. The application produces the phenomena know as "SOB" or SLIDE OVER BABY. You jumped on it as you made a right turn. If SHE stayed planted hip to hip, you new you were in for an interesting night, but if she retreated to the passenger door OH well.
Ralf Nader and his seat belts laws have stymied this practice , OH well I can dream can't I ?

wayne, the s.o.b plan is good. better then what i did. i laugh just thinking about it.
i remember a time me, a girlfriend, and my buddy were cruising around in my 66 and a guy blew the sign and i slammed on the brakes. my girlfriend slid off the seat into the dash then on the floor. all my buddy and i could do is bust out laughing. she was ok. after that i wasn't. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif
